Job Requirements

  • Minimum two years front desk leadership experience
  • Experience with Hyatt and property management software
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions
  • Knowledge of local area attractions and transportation
  • Ability to remain calm and alert during emergencies
  • Certification in required safety training such as CPR
  • Ability to work varied schedules including holidays and weekends
  • Strong attendance record
  • Proficiency in English written and verbal

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum two years front desk leadership experience
  • Experience with Hyatt and property management systems such as Opera and Colleague Advantage
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or higher degree preferred
  • Proficiency in computer literacy and financial management
  • Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and local area
  • Ability to make sound business decisions quickly
  • Familiarity with federal, state, and local employment laws

Job Duties

  • Ensure guest service standards during arrival, departure, and throughout guest interactions
  • Supervise and train front desk team members
  • Manage staffing and labor allocation according to demand
  • Monitor and respond to guest service scores and comments
  • Control departmental expenses and labor costs
  • Implement upselling and loyalty programs to maximize revenue
  • Maintain safety certifications, emergency protocols, and cleanliness standards
