Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or equivalent experience
- Minimum five years experience in hospitality management or supervisory role
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of OPERA property management system preferred
- Ability to manage multiple departments and coordinate with team headquarters
- Experience handling payroll and financial reporting
- Ability to address guest complaints effectively
- Capability to oversee and motivate staff
- Willingness to start tentatively on November 14th
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Minimum five years hospitality management experience
- Experience in condo hotel operations preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledge of OPERA property management system a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Proven leadership and supervisory skills
- Ability to develop and evaluate employee performance and goals
Job Duties
- Manage and supervise Guest Services, Reservations and Bell/Valet departments daily
- Review room availability daily to maximize revenue and occupancy
- Monitor and maintain property management system, inventory and operations
- Edit and prepare payroll for department
- Ensure adherence to property and company policies and procedures
- Manage and complete weekly and end of month reporting for Guest Service department
- Develop and implement long term Guest Service goals with training and coaching plans
- Support and encourage the Ho'okipa Incentive Plan
- Schedule and assign work duties for department staff
- Review Night Audit work daily before General Manager submission
- Ensure accurate and current City Ledger billing
- Enforce cash handling, key control and Sarbanes Oxley guidelines among Guest Service Agents
- Collaborate with Housekeeping and Maintenance departments to maintain standards
- Follow up promptly on guest issues
- Ensure effective communication across departments
- Oversee bell/valet operations despite external employment status
- Perform other duties as assigned by General Manager
