Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in hotel front office management
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to lead and train staff
  • knowledge of hotel safety and security procedures
  • capability to produce financial reports accurately
  • understanding of human resources policies and compliance
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

  • knowledge of hotel front desk operations and financial control procedures
  • experience in human resources management

Job Duties

  • maintains guest service as the driving philosophy of the hotel
  • personally demonstrates a commitment to guest services in responding promptly to guest needs
  • ensures all hotel staff including new hires are trained to meet guest service standards
  • develops added value customer service programs
  • acts as manager on duty and manages front desk operations
  • ensures front desk staff is trained in all front desk operations including check-in/check-out procedures and telephone handling
  • leads and assists in revenue management functions
  • manages human resources functions including recruiting, training, and performance evaluation
  • maintains a positive and cooperative work environment
  • ensures compliance with local health and safety codes
  • recognizes and corrects potential safety hazards and security problems
  • manages preventive maintenance programs and schedules deep-cleaning activities
