Job Requirements

  • Two year college degree or equivalent hospitality experience preferred
  • At least one year hotel front desk supervisory experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Reliable with ability to multi-task and work under pressure
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills
  • Familiar with common computer software programs
  • Must be willing to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the front office department to ensure adherence to brand standards and exceed guest expectations
  • Recruit, interview, and hire front office associates
  • Develop departmental goals and objectives for prioritization and organization
  • Drive ongoing associate engagement and recognition initiatives
  • Establish and maintain open collaborative relationships with team members
  • Manage ordering and inventory of front office supplies and uniforms
  • Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service and operational needs
  • Monitor associate performance and provide coaching and development
  • Comprehend and maintain operating budgets and financial documents
  • Ensure compliance with credit and cash handling policies
  • Demonstrate brand service culture and ensure excellent guest service
  • Greet VIPs and arrange special services
  • Review nightly audit reports and resolve issues timely
  • Proactively address guest issues and lead by example
  • Coach and support front office in managing occupancy, rates, and expenses
  • Identify service issues and facilitate creative solutions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs
