Job Requirements
- College level education or equivalent
- minimum two years management experience in front office or related field
- strong time management skills
- negotiation skills
- ability to manage independently each discipline of the department
- knowledge of employment and Innkeeper laws
- cash handling experience
- excellent English communication skills
- ability to use computer systems
- no health or safety threat to self or others
Job Qualifications
- College level reasoning, math, and language skills
- two years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines
- time management and negotiation skills
- ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently
- ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction
- prior cash handling experience
- ability to communicate effectively with the public and other employees
- read, write and speak English fluently
- computer experience required
Job Duties
- Solicit and respond promptly to guest needs
- ensure front office staff are trained to meet standards
- empower staff to deliver exceptional customer service
- meet or exceed budgeted profit and margin of the department
- prepare annual departmental budget
- manage recruiting, selection, orientation, and training
- conduct coaching, performance reviews and implement recognition programs
