Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 4 years managerial experience in a branded full-service hotel
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Experience in cash handling and customer service
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must have valid driver license
- Ability to stand for entire shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Energetic and positive attitude
- Strong leadership and multitasking skills
Job Qualifications
- At least 4 years previous managerial experience within a branded full-service hotel, preferred Hilton DoubleTree or Hilton front office experience
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of Marriott Marsha, PMS, GXP and Medallia preferred
- Energetic with a positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends and holidays
- Experience with cash handling and customer service
- Strong leadership skills
- Valid driver license for applicable state
- College coursework in related field helpful
- Previous supervisory responsibility preferred
- Ability to stand during entire shift
Job Duties
- Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Hilton standards as required by scheduling
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing proper uniform and name tag
- Comply with Hilton standards and regulations to ensure safe and efficient hotel operations
- Respond to guest requests, problems, complaints and incidents promptly and courteously
- Motivate, coach, counsel and discipline Guest Services personnel according to management SOPs
- Prepare and conduct staff interviews and oversee hiring procedures
- Develop employee morale and training for Guest Services personnel
- Maximize room revenue and occupancy through daily status review and analysis
- Oversee payroll compilation, employee scheduling and productivity requirements
- Manage cash handling and billing accuracy at the Front Desk
- Operate Front Office computer systems including report generation and software maintenance
- Ensure compliance with AFP Management SOPs including purchase orders and accounting
- Maintain professional relationships and communication with all departments
- Attend and contribute to weekly staff and department meetings
- Enforce hotel credit policies and maintain lost and found procedures
- Monitor and support corporate Guest Recognition programs
- Manage key control systems and safety deposit boxes
- Assist in revenue and occupancy forecasting
- Maintain lobby and front desk presence during peak times
- Train and cross-train new hires and current employees as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Demonstrate effective problem solving, multitasking and initiative in job performance
