Job Requirements

  • minimum 2 years of management experience in hospitality or related industry
  • ability to deal diplomatically with difficult situations and people
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • preferred experience with Opera and Microsoft Office Suite
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • bachelor's degree preferred

  • experience with Opera and Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • flexible schedule including availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • lead all front office operations and maintain high level of guest service
  • provide support, mentorship, and coaching to front office team
  • delete or add transactions for balancing revenues
  • review front desk logbook and communicate with desk agents regarding incidents
  • review all arrivals noting special requests and assess guest relocation needs
  • assist guests with services and requests
  • inspect all VIP arrival rooms
  • attend monthly Wine Hour events
  • run and attend departmental training and seminars
  • supervise front office team duties
  • coach and counsel employees using proper documentation and techniques
  • ensure timely posting and completion of employee duties
  • schedule all areas of front office operations
  • manage coverage for sick calls or tardiness including night audit shifts
  • meet or exceed Mystery Shopper Survey and guest comment card service levels
  • manage payroll and expense budgets
  • maintain the guest ledger daily
  • enforce cash and credit handling procedures
