  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles
  • Familiarity with reservation or property management systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest complaints professionally
  • Experience multitasking in fast-paced environments
  • Willingness to work weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles such as hospitality, retail, or food service
  • Familiarity with using computers and software systems especially reservation or property management systems (PMS)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience handling guest complaints or resolving conflicts in a calm and effective manner
  • Experience in managing multiple tasks such as answering phones, handling reservations, and assisting guests simultaneously
  • Hospitality or front desk experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working irregular hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Assisting guests with check-in and check-out processes efficiently
  • Maintaining day-to-day operations of the front desk
  • Establishing and maintaining appropriate service standards for all front office areas
  • Maintaining proper cash handling procedures and appropriate over and short documentation
  • Adhering to all hotel policies regarding hiring, disciplinary actions, and required training documentation
  • Working front office manager covering all short-staffed shifts, including audits
