Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years related hospitality experience
- At least two years in a management role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Physical capability to perform various tasks during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Preferred college degree, hospitality degree a plus
- Minimum five years hospitality experience
- At least two years management experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Experience with hotel property management systems such as Opera PMS
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service best practices
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of relevant labor laws and regulations
Job Duties
- Ensure guest satisfaction by responding promptly to requests and complaints
- Oversee daily operations of front desk, PBX, bell desk, concierge, and garage
- Manage staffing including hiring, training, scheduling, and supervision
- Act as Manager on Duty as needed
- Coordinate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure quality and room readiness
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, room availability, and daily house count
- Enforce all company policies and standard operating procedures
- Monitor labor expenses and productivity against budget
- Maintain guest preference database using Opera PMS
- Collaborate with reservations and sales to maximize occupancy and revenue
- Conduct walk-throughs to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards
- Supervise and delegate tasks to front office staff
- Resolve guest issues and emergency situations efficiently
- Support hotel programs and policies
- Prepare payroll data in collaboration with Director of Rooms
- Operate front office computer systems and software
- Promote and uphold the hotel’s culture of service and excellence
