Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous customer service experience
  • strong communication skills
  • basic computer proficiency
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • availability to work overnight shifts including weekends and holidays
  • ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
  • professional appearance and demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Previous customer service experience including cash and credit cards in a service provider industry
  • hospitality experience a plus
  • friendly and outgoing with a good attitude and professionalism
  • speak with others using clear and professional language
  • prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
  • answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
  • develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
  • ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • computer knowledge using a windows environment
  • ability to stand for long periods of time
  • availability for nights, weekends and holidays preferred

Job Duties

  • Answer multi-line phones in a courteous and professional manner
  • create new reservations either in person, via email or by telephone
  • process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing and activating room keys
  • coordinate with housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
  • work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet their requests, hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs
  • process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
  • research and resolve disputed charges for guests
