Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous customer service experience
- ability to stand for extended periods
- proficiency with computer systems and multi-line phone systems
- strong communication skills
- availability for flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- professional and friendly demeanor
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Job Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience including cash and credit cards in a service provider industry
- hospitality a plus
- friendly and outgoing with a good attitude and professionalism
- speak with others using clear and professional language
- prepare and review written documents accurately and completely
- answer telephones using appropriate etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- ability to multi-task, make solid business decisions with minimal supervision and work well under pressure
- computer knowledge using a windows environment
- ability to stand for long periods of time
- availability for flexible shifts, weekends and holidays preferred
Job Duties
- Answer multi-line phones in a courteous, professional manner
- create new reservations either in person, via email or by telephone
- process all guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning room, and issuing and activating room key
- coordinate with housekeeping to track readiness of rooms for check-in
- work with other staff members to ensure that all guest rooms meet their requests, hotel standards and accommodate any special client needs
- process all payment types such as room charges, cash, checks, debit, or credit
- research and resolve disputed charges for guests
