Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a medical or orthopaedic setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification in office administration or medical reception is a plus
  • Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a medical or orthopaedic setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor
  • Verify patient information and ensure accuracy
  • Manage patient appointments including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages
  • Handle front office administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing patient records
  • Assist with insurance verification and referrals
  • Input and update patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system
  • Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
  • Monitor patient flow and communicate with clinical staff regarding patient status
