Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a medical or orthopaedic setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Additional certification in office administration or medical reception is a plus
- Proven experience in a receptionist or front office role, preferably in a medical or orthopaedic setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer service orientation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with EHR systems
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Job Duties
- Greet and check-in patients with a warm and professional demeanor
- Verify patient information and ensure accuracy
- Manage patient appointments including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations
- Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries, transferring calls, and taking accurate messages
- Handle front office administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and managing patient records
- Assist with insurance verification and referrals
- Input and update patient information into the electronic health records (EHR) system
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized
- Monitor patient flow and communicate with clinical staff regarding patient status
