Job Requirements
- 3+ years experience in a Front Office/Reservations position with 1+ years in a Supervisory role, preferably in a luxury property
- Flexible schedule with ability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Strong leadership and team management abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Qualifications
- Excellent reading, writing & oral proficiency of the English language
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask
- Ability to organize, delegate & work under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and the Internet
- Previous experience in overseeing associates under a collective bargaining agreement is a plus
- Experience in providing training and coaching to staff
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Provide support to the Director of Rooms, Front Office Manager, Co-Managers and leadership to Front Desk, Guest Services Bell/Valet, Night Audit, PBX and Security Team
- Training, adherence and upholding of service standards
- Participating in daily operations to ensure a successful guest experience with attention to details for special requests and VIPs
- Oversee associate performance to include, but not limited to, providing supervision, scheduling, training, counseling/formal coaching, delivering recognition and reward
- Provide ongoing training as needed to maintain service and satisfaction scores and trends, evaluate and address issues to make improvements accordingly
- Maintain professional contact with all other hotel departments such as Reservations, Sales, Housekeeping, Engineering to ensure coordinated hotel services
- Ensure operational procedures are followed according to company policies and standards
