Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or office environment
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service or office environment
  • Previous experience working with homeless, mentally ill, or substance-using populations is helpful but not required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products and ability to learn and adapt to changing technology utilized in role
  • Proficient in the use of standard office equipment such as computers, multi-line phones, postage, and multifunction machines

Job Duties

  • Provide exceptional customer service
  • Respond promptly and politely to incoming calls, answer inquiries, or direct them to appropriate staff
  • Greet residents, prospective residents, and guests courteously
  • Manage sign-ins and ensure the reception area is organized and welcoming
  • Receive and securely process rent payments via lockbox, mail, or in person
  • Record tenant information, time/date-stamp payments, and issue receipts when applicable
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail and manage fax deliveries
  • Process housing applications and provide administrative assistance
  • Support organizational initiatives and perform additional tasks as assigned
  • Train and guide staff, interns, and volunteers
  • Actively contribute to CHN's community and operations
