Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related training equivalent
  • 1+ year of relevant work experience in similar scope and title
  • Experience within luxury brand or markets
  • Preferred student or graduate of hotel management
  • Ability to perform front desk tasks and use related software
  • Ability to handle cash and calculate figures
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to solve problems and make sound judgments
  • Ability to comply with company policies
  • Physical ability to stand, stoop, bend up to 8 hours daily
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Comfortable with varying schedules and shared workspaces

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Minimum 1 year relevant work experience in a similar role
  • Experience in luxury brand markets
  • Preferred student or graduate of hotel management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with property management systems and office equipment
  • Ability to handle cash and perform calculations accurately
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure
  • Knowledge of safety rules and procedural manuals

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with internal and external guests in a warm and friendly manner
  • Assist in housekeeping duties such as cleaning public areas and guest laundry
  • Maintain guest privacy and confidentiality of personal information
  • Process check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments
  • Coordinate with housekeeping to track room readiness
  • Communicate parking procedures and dispatch bell/valet attendants
  • Post guest charges, process no-shows, and adjust disputed charges
  • Run daily reports and conduct bucket checks
  • Verify rate codes and adjust guest invoices
  • Block and unblock rooms as needed
  • Operate the telephone system and respond promptly
  • Process and respond to wake-up calls
  • Notify guests of messages and record them accurately
  • Maintain knowledge of room types, hotel amenities, and local attractions
  • Respond promptly to guest questions and special requests
  • Log guest concerns and communicate with relevant departments
  • Solve problems efficiently
  • Demonstrate sales techniques to upsell services and products
  • Maintain a neat and organized work area
  • Protect company proprietary information and assets
  • Use office equipment and property management systems proficiently
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Follow safety and security policies and report incidents
  • Accommodate guests with disabilities appropriately
  • Support team goals and attend required training
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
