Job Requirements
- Previous experience in restaurant management, assistant management, or a supervisory role preferred
- Strong understanding of front-of-house operations
- Experience assisting with labor control, cost management
- Ability to train, coach, and motivate staff
- Excellent guest service and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Dependability and professionalism
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and assist with operational tasks
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant management, assistant management, or a supervisory role preferred
- Strong understanding of front-of-house operations, staffing, and service standards
- Experience assisting with labor control, cost management, and basic P&L review
- Proven ability to train, coach, and motivate team members to deliver consistent, high-quality service
- Excellent guest service skills with confidence handling issues, complaints, and on-the-spot decisions
- Working knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to step into a leadership role when the Manager is unavailable
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and assist in daily operational tasks as needed
Job Duties
- Assist in managing business segments of restaurant operations including staffing and service
- Assist in optimizing profit and controlling costs with the use of P&L statements
- Train new employees and supervise current employees to consistently provide exemplary service and achieve operational excellence
- Maintain a healthy and safe environment for guests and staff alike by adhering to safety and sanitation standards
- Schedule maintenance as needed
- Report to all meetings
