Job Requirements
- High school diploma preferred, college is a plus
- Ability to write and speak English, Spanish is a plus
- Must have appropriate city, state and federal certifications including alcohol and food handling
- Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant/hospitality
- Age 21 or older
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Knowledge of restaurant systems such as ALOHA or other POS systems
- Ability to lead and motivate team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle guest complaints and promote excellent service
- Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Capable of working in hot, humid and wet environments
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in restaurant and/or hospitality, preferred high-volume and fast-paced restaurant experience
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to multi-task
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and memos, write simple correspondence
- Ability to lead, inspire, motivate team spirit and present information in small group settings
- Ability to work under pressure
- Knowledge of restaurant systems including ALOHA or other POS, and MS Office

Job Duties
- Maintain safe, secure and healthy work environment by enforcing sanitation standards, comply with legal regulations, secure revenues, participate in safety reviews, ensure cleanliness and oversee safety protocols
- Ensure and manage restaurant cleanliness focusing on front of house, oversee safety and food/beverage preparations adherence
- Develop and manage front of house team daily operations, support front and back of house, execute food and service quality controls
- Manage service and hospitality standards by monitoring all aspects of service and utilizing steps of service
- Control costs by reviewing labor, minimizing waste, and ensuring guest service excellence, control beverage cost and usage adhering to product requisition, storage procedures, standard recipes and waste control
- Order and review beverage supplies and bar items timely and cost-effectively, maintain inventory and conduct inventory with management, ensure proper product specifications and receiving protocols
- Create schedules for front of house team to ensure efficient labor costs and staffing based on sales and business needs
- Oversee and schedule repairs and maintenance on front of house equipment, ensure cleanliness and working condition through inspections and preventative maintenance
- Coordinate daily front and back of house operations, manage sales goals, review product quality, organize and supervise shifts, manage breaks and scheduling
- Appraise performance of front of house team members, provide feedback, enforce disciplinary actions consistently
- Respond efficiently to guest complaints and corporate communications
- Work closely with general manager and other managers to meet revenue objectives including food, beverage and labor costs
- Train, develop, and manage front of house team on safety, beverage recipes and hospitality standards, cross-train team members to enhance operational efficiency
- Ensure effective operation of front of house ensuring best guest dining experience
- Embrace and execute company mission, values and culture
- Complete other managerial tasks as assigned
