Job Requirements

must have a high school diploma or GED
must have sufficient math ability to accurately add, subtract, divide, multiply and perform other basic business math calculations and pass basic math skills test
must speak, be able to read and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors and employees
must understand written and oral direction and communicate effectively with others
must possess good organizational skills
must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
must have ability to work closely with others
must be able to work in a fast paced environment
sense of urgency
must have a pleasant personality and adhere to uniform standards policy
must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
must be able to work various shifts and hours to include holidays and weekends
ability to take tasks that are not clearly defined and appropriately define problem, propose and implement solutions
no certifications required
must be able to stand for minimum of 5 hours
must be able to lift 50 pounds
must be able to push 50 pounds
ability to move heavy 200 plus pounds wheeled carts
physical ability to maneuver around McCormick Place at times
occasional climbing or balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
must occasionally lift and or move a minimum of 25 pounds
specific vision abilities including close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Pick up and transport hot and cold food products from warehouse to designated restaurant locations
set tables and chairs, move concession carts and help stock carts with paper and food products
store all equipment in proper storage areas
stock and restock food shelves and coolers and ensure accuracy of items placed and labels facing forward
perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
set up front of house beverage areas and stock
properly stock all cutlery, napkins, condiments
clean all tables, chairs, counters, rails and glass areas within area of responsibility
sweep all areas of carpet and floors
perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
