Job Requirements
- Completion of a food handler safety course within two weeks of hire or current certification
- Certification in alcohol service course within four weeks of hire or current certification for servers, bartenders, or bar backs
- Eligible to work in the US
- Possession of current state or federal identification
- Willingness to consent to a full background check
- Reliable transportation or current Pierce Transit card if no driver license
- Availability to work assigned shifts and fill or substitute as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous food and/or cocktail service experience
- Excellent time management skills
- Polished appearance and positive demeanor
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work on feet for extended periods
- Problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with POS and reservation systems preferred
- Basic knowledge of craft cocktails or wine preferred
- Spanish language skills (conversational) preferred
- Over 21 years of age
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently
- Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and beverages
- Maintain a polished and professional appearance throughout shifts
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
- Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and cheerfully
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas
