Job Requirements

  • Completion of a food handler safety course within two weeks of hire or current certification
  • Certification in alcohol service course within four weeks of hire or current certification for servers, bartenders, or bar backs
  • Eligible to work in the US
  • Possession of current state or federal identification
  • Willingness to consent to a full background check
  • Reliable transportation or current Pierce Transit card if no driver license
  • Availability to work assigned shifts and fill or substitute as needed

Job Qualifications

  • Previous food and/or cocktail service experience
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Polished appearance and positive demeanor
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work on feet for extended periods
  • Problem-solving abilities
  • Familiarity with POS and reservation systems preferred
  • Basic knowledge of craft cocktails or wine preferred
  • Spanish language skills (conversational) preferred
  • Over 21 years of age

Job Duties

  • Greet and seat guests warmly and efficiently
  • Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on menu items and beverages
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance throughout shifts
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely service
  • Handle guest concerns and resolve issues promptly and cheerfully
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in dining and service areas
