Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in restaurant management or related hospitality role
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds
  • Physical stamina to perform duties including standing for long periods and occasional bending and climbing
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Commitment to exceptional guest service
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Proficient with point of sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and priorities

Job Qualifications

  • 3 plus years relevant experience
  • College degree preferred, especially in hotel or restaurant management
  • Combination of practical experience and education considered
  • Proficient in food planning, purchasing, sanitation, security, policies, personnel management, recordkeeping and report preparation
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Eligible to work in the United States
  • ServSafe certified preferred
  • Flexible schedule including nights and weekends
  • Professional appearance, punctuality and reliability
  • Hospitality soul with guest-friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environment with sense of urgency
  • Advanced written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills
  • Well organized
  • Advanced leadership qualities and desire to improve
  • Proficient in computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, internet and POS
  • Physical ability to walk frequently, and occasionally bend, twist, kneel, climb, stoop and crouch
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and maneuver 170 pounds while frequently climbing stairs

Job Duties

  • Build and inspire the team and be an effective coach by elevating the team for growth and assisting them in reaching their goals
  • Uphold core values and code of ethics in team development
  • Conduct orientation and oversee training of new employees
  • Make employment and termination decisions including interviewing, hiring, evaluating and disciplining personnel with oversight from General Manager
  • Develop employees by providing ongoing feedback and conducting performance reviews
  • Schedule labor based on business activity while meeting labor cost objectives
  • Ensure team members have the right tools and knowledge to perform effectively
  • Provide direction on operational and procedural issues
  • Delegate responsibilities to team members to ensure objectives and excellent service are met
  • Maintain community involvement and a strong brand presence
  • Track emerging industry trends and maintain professional knowledge
  • Live the brand and act as a brand ambassador
  • Oversee all restaurant areas and guest service decisions
  • Adhere to company standards to increase sales and minimize costs
  • Complete financial and payroll administrative duties accurately and on time
  • Enforce sanitary food handling and cleanliness
  • Ensure compliance with operational standards and laws
  • Maintain consistent food quality and uphold ServSafe guidelines
  • Maintain professional restaurant image and appearance standards
  • Respond to guest complaints and take appropriate actions
  • Ensure security procedures protect employees, guests and assets
  • Maintain a safe working and guest environment and complete accident reports
  • Manage shifts including scheduling and planning
  • Investigate and resolve complaints concerning food quality and service
