Atlas Performing Arts Center is a vibrant and historic performing arts venue located in Washington, D.C. Originally built in 1938 as one of the four movie theaters on H Street NE, the Atlas Theatre has been a cultural cornerstone in the community. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least two years in customer service
- Ability to work weekends and evenings
- Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
- Ability to climb stairs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency in basic computer applications
- Ability to multitask
- CPR certification or willingness to obtain

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software including Patron Manager/Salesforce

- Ability to obtain CPR certification
- Availability for nighttime and weekend shifts
- Flexible scheduling to align with performance schedule
Job Duties
- Greet and guide patrons throughout the facility at all access points
- Complete all pre- and post-show tasks promptly ensuring the facility is prepared and clean
- Train in building security and obtain certifications in Fire/Life/Safety protocols
- Coordinate with Stage Manager/Tech Representative and Box Office before performances
- Provide support for accessibility requests including courtesy wheelchair and assisted listening devices
- Supervise volunteer ushers and manage lobby traffic flow and ticket scanning at venue entrances
- Seat all patrons appropriately and resolve ticketing issues with discretion and haste
- Compile data with Production staff for End of Day reporting
- Assist patrons, artists and clients at Box Office using Patron Manager software for ticket sales and reservations
- Provide reception desk coverage as needed
- Support special projects to maintain data integrity for Patron Services department
