Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
- 2 to 4 years of supervisory experience in food and beverage operations, preferably in a private club, upscale restaurant, or resort
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in POS systems and basic computer applications (Word, Excel, email)
- ServSafe or Food Handler Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Manage daily operations of dining outlets, banquet services, bars
- Ensure consistent high-quality service and presentation across all food and beverage outlets
- Training of front-of-house food and beverage personnel
- Oversee the restaurant(s) to ensure all tables are taken care of and all team members are accomplishing the assigned tasks
- Oversee closing procedures and ensure cleanliness and readiness of service areas
- Manage with members and guests to ensure satisfaction and resolve complaints promptly
- Promote a culture of hospitality and personalized service in line with country club standards
- Support the coordination and execution of club events, private functions, and tournaments
- Lead by example and motivate the food and beverage team
- Assist in training programs for new hires and continuous development of staff
- Participate in performance evaluations and coaching
- Assist with inventory management
- Monitor compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
