Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior management experience in a food service or hospitality environment
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced setting
  • knowledge of alcoholic beverage service and relevant regulations
  • proficient computer skills
  • ability to maintain budgets and inventories
  • flexible availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • certification in alcohol service and safe food handling preferred
  • ability to foster teamwork and positive workplace relationships
  • adherence to all state and local alcohol laws
  • willingness to work an event-driven schedule
  • physical ability to handle the demands of the role
  • commitment to upholding company policies and standards

  • certification by the National Bar and Restaurant Management Association
  • openness to working an events-driven schedule

Job Duties

  • Schedules, trains, manages, and develops staff
  • manages budget and inventory
  • trains and supervises alcoholic beverage service
  • assists with catering events tied to shows
  • establishes beverage program and seasonal specials
  • purchases alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • manages culinary program in conjunction with WPC culinary and marketing team
  • maintains a positive working relationship with staff, venue client and production team
  • works with vendors to increase positive cost results
  • works in conjunction with venue house managers regarding attendance and staffing to achieve maximum results
  • oversees financial aspects of first class bar/concession stand operations
