Job Requirements

  • Able to perform all job duties successfully with or without reasonable accommodation
  • experience with supervisory roles
  • experience in food and beverage service
  • ability to manage guest-facing responsibilities
  • current Food Handlers Permit
  • willingness to obtain ServSafe certification within required timeframe if not already certified
  • physical ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
  • ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, squat, stretch for extended periods
  • strong organizational and time management skills
  • proficiency with Microsoft Office and POS systems
  • ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels
  • adherence to health and hygiene standards
  • problem-solving and conflict resolution skills

Job Qualifications

  • AOS in hotel restaurant management or 5 years experience in restaurants, hotels, or related food service operations
  • 1+ years of functional supervisory experience
  • 2 years food and beverage experience
  • preferred 1 year sports arena club level or on-site catering experience
  • preferred knowledge of cash handling and bank reconciliation
  • observable good business etiquette
  • observable zest for food, beverage, and guest service
  • current Food Handlers Permit
  • preferred ServSafe Manager Certification or willingness to obtain within 3 months
  • moderate Microsoft Office skills including Outlook
  • ability to navigate point-of-sale and other equipment
  • strong communication skills in English both written and verbal

Job Duties

  • Ensure high caliber guest service with each guest, vendor, team member, and visitor
  • provide excellent customer service and greet guests in the dining room
  • perform some food preparation including peeling, cutting, and stocking fruits and vegetables
  • support guest check-out, station sign maintenance, beverage ordering and inventory, cleaning, stocking, and occasional dish washing
  • greet guests, answer questions, and resolve issues throughout service
  • set up all front of house breakfast food stations including fruit and yogurt bar, pastry display, coffee station, and signage
  • communicate with Chef and sous chefs for proper labeling and setup of guest-facing food stations
  • deescalate difficult situations with guests, vendors, employees, and team members while remaining professional and positive
  • maintain compliance with Health Department regulations and excellent hygiene standards
  • participate in departmental meetings and professional development
  • perform additional duties as assigned
