Job Requirements
- Management ServSafe Certification (certificate expected within 30 days of position acceptance)
- some college education
- 2+ years in the restaurant industry
- ability to open and close restaurant based on schedule
- ability to conduct effective meetings and supervise team members
- willingness to maintain cleanliness and operational standards
- flexible to handle various tasks as assigned
- ability to coordinate with human resources for disciplinary actions and worker's compensation claims
Job Qualifications
- Some college education
- minimum 2 years in the restaurant industry
- manager's food safety ServSafe certification
- preferred but not absolute experience in restaurant management
- experience with Chick-fil-A operations is a plus
- strong leadership and communication skills
- ability to manage teams and multitask effectively
Job Duties
- Opening/closing the restaurant
- completing daily set-ups for the front counter
- conducting weekly meetings with the business director to set and track goals and discuss budget considerations
- holding daily mini-meetings with guest services supervisors and dining room hosts
- maintaining task checklists for the front counter and dining room
- ensuring cleanliness of the front counter, dining room, restrooms, and grounds including landscaping
- ensuring maintenance of fresh flowers in the dining room
- managing waste control
- correcting behaviors based on CARES/CEM/ROE feedback
- interviewing in conjunction with human resources director
- conducting daily uniform inspections and noting replacement needs
- monitoring attendance issues and scheduling changes
- allowing disciplinary issues and employee disputes to be handled by the human resources director
- gathering intel for worker's compensation claims
- performing any other necessary tasks related to the area as deemed by the operator or board
