Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • experience in front of house or customer service roles is advantageous
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to operate POS systems accurately
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to manage cash and payment transactions responsibly
  • team player with a positive and professional attitude
  • ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
  • willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
  • certification or training in responsible alcohol service is a plus

Job Duties

  • Welcome guests warmly in person and on the phone
  • provide detailed information about menu items including food and beverages
  • use selling techniques to promote specials and targeted promotions
  • accurately take orders using the POS system and handle payments
  • manage cash transactions and reconcile receipts
  • maintain a clean, organized station and restock supplies
  • respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries and requests
  • build positive relationships with guests during their dining experience
  • communicate guest needs effectively to staff and management
  • lead in resolving guest issues and escalate when necessary
  • maintain a professional and calm demeanor during service
  • follow established tip handling procedures
  • deliver food and beverage orders enthusiastically
  • adhere to restaurant Standard Operating Procedures
  • greet and manage pick up orders professionally and confirm accuracy
  • provide responsible alcohol service and check IDs as required
  • prepare house beverages following Gott's recipes
  • keep all restaurant areas clean and tidy following health and safety standards
  • manage dishwashing duties
  • maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas and restrooms
  • perform opening and closing duties for cashier and service areas
  • support team members with additional duties
  • assist with side work such as cleaning and food item portioning
  • clear tables and sanitize high-touch areas
  • report any safety or sanitation hazards
  • consistently arrive on time and dressed according to uniform standards
  • maintain a positive attitude and high service expectations
  • perform other duties as assigned to ensure restaurant success
