Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • a minimum of six months related experience and/or training
  • or equivalent combination of education and experience

Job Qualifications

  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, club, or catering environment preferred
  • strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices
  • ability to work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak hours and events
  • excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
  • flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • culinary training or certification a plus but not required
  • food handler's permit and alcohol server certification required
  • ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
  • assist with presenting menus, answering questions, and making recommendations for food and beverages to all guests
  • take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly, and transact sales in the POS system
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, storage areas, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • assist in developing daily specials and menu updates based on seasonal ingredients, demand, and guest preferences
  • monitor food quality, consistency, and freshness to ensure optimal guest satisfaction
  • support banquet and tournament food and beverage service operations as needed
