Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • A minimum of six months related experience and/or training
  • Previous cooking experience in a restaurant, club, or catering environment preferred
  • Strong understanding of kitchen operations, food safety, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills
  • Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Food handler's permit and alcohol server certification required
  • Ability to read and speak English may be required

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes, portion sizes, and presentation standards
  • Assist with presenting menus, answering questions, and making recommendations for food and beverages to all guests
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders, deliver items promptly, and transact sales in the POS system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work area, storage areas, and equipment in compliance with health and safety regulations and company standards
  • Assist in developing daily specials and menu updates based on seasonal ingredients, demand, and guest preferences
  • Monitor food quality, consistency, and freshness to ensure optimal guest satisfaction
  • Support banquet and tournament food and beverage service operations as needed
  • Receive and properly store deliveries, ensuring accurate inventory rotation and minimal waste
  • Collaborate with additional staff members to ensure smooth and timely service to all guests
  • Assist with opening, closing, side work duties, and other tasks as assigned
  • Follow established guidelines for both front of the house and back of the house duties functions
