Job Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team
Excellent communication skills
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Must follow all applicable liquor and tobacco laws
Ability to stand for long periods and perform physical tasks such as bending and lifting
Ability to provide exceptional customer service

Job Qualifications

Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to handle cash and perform accurate transactions
Familiarity with retail POS systems
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Basic math skills

Job Duties

Accurately record prices and collect payments
Responsible for accurate balancing of the cash drawer
Follow and implement correct accounting procedures for all voids, returns, exchanges, and department transfers
Accurately collect cash, checks, or charge payments from customers and make changes when required on cash transactions
Verify identification for authenticity and signature when processing checks and credit card purchases
Follow liquor and tobacco laws implicitly, including verification and authenticity of valid identification
Provide extraordinary customer service that exceeds expectations
