Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • ability to stand and walk for up to 9 hours per day
  • ability to communicate effectively using speech, vision, and hearing
  • ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations regularly
  • ability to bend, squat, crawl, climb, and reach regularly
  • ability to lift, carry, push, or pull weights up to 50 pounds regularly

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in retail and/or supply chain management
  • proficiency with MS Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • experience with CRM systems and project management tools
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong verbal and written communication skills
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to quickly adapt as business needs change, addressing difficult situations with diplomacy and emotional intelligence

Job Duties

  • Deliver friendly, efficient front-end customer service and ensure a smooth checkout experience
  • consistently achieve high levels of point-of-sale transactions on a daily basis
  • assist customers with accurate register transactions, including cash handling and membership verification, as well as loading purchases into customer vehicles
  • process customer returns and ensure items are restocked appropriately
  • expedite customer flow through checkout lanes to minimize wait times
  • serve as the first point of contact for incoming phone calls, providing prompt assistance or directing inquiries
  • guide customers within the store and answer questions about policies, memberships, pricing, and general inquiries
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes, registers, carts, and the front area of the location
  • refill and merchandise impulse products at the front end to support sales
  • perform additional tasks and support initiatives as assigned by management to ensure smooth location operations and alignment with overall business goals
