Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Oversee the community entry area for visitors, guests, and residents
  • extend a warm welcome and greeting
  • offer and provide beverages to visitors and guests
  • ensure that community safety protocols are in place
  • contact the Director of Sales or Executive Director to meet with prospective residents, families, or visitors
  • greet potential candidates interested in careers
  • direct candidates to apply online or capture applicant information
  • answer incoming telephone calls within two to three rings with appropriate greeting and identification
  • take messages and communicate to intended recipients
  • offer community overview to callers and direct appropriately
  • manage appointments for residents and family members
  • send get well cards to residents in hospital
  • order Memory Flower for deceased residents
  • send sympathy cards to families
  • order flowers and name plates for new residents
  • order guest meals for resident move-in days
  • maintain marketing and move-in packet inventory
  • support Director of Sales with inquiry calls and lead tracking
  • perform administrative duties related to resident move-in
  • keep front desk and entry area neat and organized
  • monitor Bistro area for cleanliness, refreshments, and music
  • ensure coverage at front desk when away
  • partner with team for compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
  • practice safety procedures including PPE, fire extinguishers, and lockout/tagout
  • maintain resident and team member rosters and schedules for emergencies
  • champion Safe Leaving Program
  • respond to emergencies per policies
  • ensure guest and resident sign-in/out
  • maintain elopement list
  • update resident phone list, move-in/out registers, guest sign-in logs
  • prepare and tally meal tickets
  • collect and process meal ticket payments
  • organize and distribute mail
  • post daily menu
  • maintain miscellaneous credit forms
  • assist with recruitment data entry and general administrative tasks
  • monitor and order office supplies
  • track and distribute team member paychecks
  • participate in team meetings and training
  • contribute to team engagement and uphold Team Member Credo
  • maintain compliance with training requirements
  • perform other duties as assigned
