Job Requirements
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- ability to perform high school level arithmetic calculations and reading comprehension
- valid Indiana driver’s license or state ID and ability to drive an automobile
- reliable transportation to work and related program locations
- pass a national criminal records background check and a 10-panel drug screen
- maintain current 1st Aid and CPR certification
- ability to adapt to inclement weather conditions and situations
- ability to move easily across indoor and outdoor surfaces
- possess strength and agility to climb stairs and carry 25 pounds at least 20 feet
- physically and mentally capable of performing essential job responsibilities with or without accommodation
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, or similar administrative position
- ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with management, staff, parents, guardians, and community
- effective verbal and written communication skills with correct English
- capability to understand and carry out instructions and procedures with minimal supervision
- time management skills and ability to maintain an orderly work environment
- bachelor’s degree preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain accountability of the club kids by monitoring their arrival and departure and directing them to their groups
- keep parents and guardians informed about club events, field trips, closings, and concerns regarding their children
- ensure guests and volunteers sign in and out, wear badges, and are directed to the appropriate locations
- provide membership information and assistance to interested parents and guardians
- follow established protocols for visitors, job applicants, appointments, interviews, and media visits
- respond appropriately in emergencies such as fire, severe weather, violence, or contamination
- prevent unauthorized personnel from entering the club
- complete required program, operational, and administrative documentation and reports accurately and on time
- maintain a neat and orderly work area
- answer the phone professionally
