Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- Capability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for entire shifts
- Comfortable working in a noisy and fast-paced environment
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping
- Ability to remain friendly and professional throughout the shift
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to greet and engage guests enthusiastically
- Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced, noisy environment
- Friendly demeanor with the ability to smile frequently
- Basic math skills for transaction processing
- Ability to read and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to remain professional and neat in appearance
- Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Must demonstrate ability to handle guest concerns calmly and professionally
Job Duties
- Greet guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the combination of food, drinks, and games
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or significant matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Manage guest flow from front doors, assist with seating, and manage wait times efficiently
- Prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, and gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station and maintain supplies
- Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts when applicable
- Foster a cooperative and harmonious working environment with other team members
- Calmly respond to dissatisfied guests and notify managers of any issues
- Process transactions accurately, including bill calculations, to-go orders, and sales of merchandise
- Bid farewell to guests leaving and invite them to return
- Assist other team members as needed
