Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- ability to work days, nights and/or weekends as required
- willing and able to work in a noisy, fast paced environment
- able to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
- capable of lifting and carrying up to 30 pounds
- able to reach, bend and stoop frequently
- able to read and write handwritten notes
- dress neatly and professionally in accordance with dress guidelines
Job Qualifications
- Strong communication skills
- ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- friendly and enthusiastic personality
- ability to read and communicate clearly in English
- prior restaurant, retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
- ability to smile frequently and maintain a positive attitude
- ability to work cooperatively with team members
- basic math skills for handling transactions
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
- greet guests with positive attitude and enthusiasm
- coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales and telephone duties
- prepare and stock the front desk and host area with supplies
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
- manage seating and table turns following established guidelines
- communicate effectively with guests, team members and managers
- calculate and process bill transactions accurately
- sell merchandise and complete "To Go" orders
- respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and notify manager if necessary
