Job Requirements
- Work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
- Work in noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
- Read and write handwritten notes
- Lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Move around facility and stand for long periods
- Walk or stand 100% of shift
- Reach, bend, and stoop frequently
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple guests simultaneously
- Maintain punctuality and reliability
- Must comply with company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain a friendly and positive attitude
- Basic math skills for handling transactions
- Ability to read and communicate clearly in English
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle guest concerns diplomatically
- Must be able to follow dress code and appearance guidelines
- Must be at least 16 years of age
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in a fun environment
- Greet guests with a positive attitude and coordinate game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone communications
- Keep supervisor informed of significant issues and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite them to return
- Prepare for shifts by stocking supplies like menus, silverware, and gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host stations
- Conduct merchandise inventory when applicable
- Maintain favorable working relationships with team members
- Notify manager of unhappy guests and assist team members when needed
- Manage table turn timing by clearing and cleaning tables
- Rotate seating to ensure fairness
- Manage guest flow efficiently and communicate wait times
- Deliver silverware as guests are seated
- Calculate bills accurately and process transactions with a smile
- Reconcile monies from cash banks
- Complete take-out orders
- Sell merchandise
- Communicate effectively and maintain professional appearance
- Calmly address dissatisfied guests and escalate issues
- Must be at least 16 years old
