Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- Restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Ability to communicate effectively with multiple guests
- Friendly demeanor and ability to smile frequently
- Ability to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells
- Skill in calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and escalating issues appropriately
- Ability to read and communicate in English
- Maintain professional appearance according to dress guidelines
- Be at least 16 years of age
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Act as ambassador to the building, greeting guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
- Keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters and take corrective action where necessary
- Bid farewell to guests leaving, ensuring satisfaction and inviting return visits
- Prepare for the shift by ensuring area is stocked with supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, and gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of the front desk and host station
- Ensure all menus are stocked and properly cleaned and maintained
- Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift, if applicable
- Maintain favorable working relationships with other team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious working environment
- Notify manager of any guest that appears unhappy
- Assist other team members as needed
- Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing and cleaning tables
- Rotate seating according to guidelines to ensure fairness and balance
- Manage flow from the front doors, efficiently helping guests and directing as needed
- Manage wait times and communicate information to guests, team members, and managers
- Deliver silverware as guests are seated
- Make timely and accurate bill transactions
- Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
- Reconcile monies from cash banks
- Complete "To Go" order transactions ensuring accuracy
- Sell merchandise from the front desk, if applicable
- Maintain friendliness and smile frequently with guests
- Communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm for Dave & Buster's
- Dress according to guidelines, looking neat, clean and professional
- Demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
- Articulate clear greetings, requests, and farewells to guests
- Calmly respond to dissatisfied guests and report issues to the manager
- Must be at least 16 years of age
