Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand and move about facility for long periods
- Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous restaurant, retail, or cashier experience preferred but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and approachable personality
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Basic math skills for processing transactions
- Ability to remain calm and composed while handling dissatisfied guests
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to assist coworkers
- Adherence to dress code and professional appearance
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the combination of food, drinks, and games in a fun environment
- Act as ambassador by greeting guests with positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephones
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Bid farewell to guests leaving and invite them to return
- Prepare for shifts by ensuring front desk is stocked with supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards, and gift cards
- Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
- Ensure menus are stocked, cleaned, and maintained properly
- Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts if applicable
- Maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote morale, productivity, and efficiency
- Notify manager of unhappy guests
- Assist other team members as needed
- Manage table turn timing by scouting, bussing, and cleaning tables
- Rotate seating following guidelines for fairness and balance
- Manage guest flow from the front doors and assist with their needs
- Communicate wait times and information to guests, team members, and managers
- Deliver silverware as guests are seated
- Make timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions
- Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
- Reconcile monies from banks
- Complete to-go order transactions accurately
- Sell merchandise from the front desk if applicable
- Maintain friendly demeanor and smile frequently
- Communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm
- Adhere to dress guidelines and maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance
- Demonstrate ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to manager
- Must be at least 16 years of age
