Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in restaurant, retail or cashier roles preferred but not required
  • Friendly and enthusiastic attitude
  • Ability to read and communicate clearly in English
  • Professional appearance and adherence to dress guidelines
  • Ability to calmly handle dissatisfied guests
  • Minimum age of 16 years

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games
  • Act as ambassador greeting guests with positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales and telephones
  • Keep supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite return
  • Prepare for shifts by stocking supplies such as menus, silverware, power cards and gift cards
  • Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • Ensure menus are stocked and maintained
  • Check and restock necessary supplies
  • Bring areas up to standard and discuss problem areas with manager
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts if applicable
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with team members to foster a cooperative and harmonious work climate
  • Notify manager of unhappy guests
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables, bussing and cleaning tables
  • Rotate seating appropriately following guidelines
  • Manage flow from front doors and direct guests efficiently
  • Manage wait times and communicate information to guests, team members and managers
  • Deliver silverware to guests as seated
  • Make timely and accurate bill transactions
  • Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
  • Reconcile monies from cash banks
  • Complete to go order transactions accurately
  • Sell merchandise from front desk if applicable
  • Smile frequently and communicate effectively
  • Dress neatly and professionally according to guidelines
  • Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and escalate issues to manager
  • Must be at least 16 years old
