Job Requirements

  • must be at least 16 years of age
  • must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
  • must be skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and alerting manager
  • must be able to articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to guests
  • employee needs to communicate effectively with multiple guests while generating enthusiasm
  • must be dressed neatly and professionally at all times
  • able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • able to stand or walk 100% of the shift
  • must be able to work days, nights and/or weekends
  • able to work in a noisy fast-paced environment
  • able to read and write handwritten notes
  • able to frequently reach, bend and stoop

Job Qualifications

  • restaurant, retail or cashier experience preferred but not required
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
  • friendly and enthusiastic demeanor
  • ability to work well within a team
  • basic math skills for handling transactions

Job Duties

  • deliver an unparalleled Guest experience through food, drinks and games in a fun environment
  • greet guests with a positive attitude and enthusiasm while coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone communications
  • keep supervisor informed of any problems or significant issues and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • bid farewell to guests ensuring satisfaction and invite them to return
  • prepare shift areas by stocking menus, silverware, power cards, gift cards and other supplies
  • maintain cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • conduct merchandise inventory during and after shifts if applicable
  • foster a cooperative and harmonious working environment with team members to maximize morale and productivity
  • notify manager of any unhappy guests
  • assist team members as needed
  • manage table turnover by scouting open tables, bussing and cleaning
  • rotate seating following guidelines to ensure fairness
  • manage guest flow from front doors and assist guests efficiently
  • manage wait times and communicate information to guests, team members and managers
  • deliver silverware to guests as seated
  • make timely and accurate calculations of bill transactions
  • greet and assist guests with a smile while processing transactions
  • reconcile monies from cash bank
  • complete to-go order transactions and ensure accuracy
  • sell merchandise from the front desk if applicable
  • maintain a friendly demeanor and smile frequently
