Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years of age
  • Able to work days, nights, and/or weekends as required
  • Able to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with distractions
  • Able to read and write handwritten notes
  • Able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Able to move about facility and stand for long periods
  • Able to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
  • Able to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
  • Must dress in accordance with dress guidelines, looking neat, clean, and professional
  • Must demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
  • Must be skilled at calmly responding to dissatisfied guests and alerting manager to issues

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Experience in restaurant, retail, or cashier roles preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Basic math skills for handling transactions
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Friendly and outgoing personality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to learn and follow company policies and procedures
  • Ability to interact positively with guests and team members
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in a fun environment
  • Act as ambassador to the building by greeting guests with positivity and coordinating game rentals, merchandise sales, and telephone duties
  • Keep immediate supervisor informed of problems or unusual matters and take corrective action or suggest alternatives
  • Bid farewell to guests leaving and ensure satisfaction while inviting them to return
  • Prepare the shift by stocking supplies like menus, silverware, Power cards, and gift cards
  • Review cleanliness and organization of front desk and host station
  • Ensure menus are stocked and maintained
  • Check for restocking of necessary supplies
  • Bring all areas up to standard
  • Discuss problem areas with manager
  • Conduct merchandise inventory during and after shift if applicable
  • Maintain favorable working relationships with team members to promote morale and efficiency
  • Notify manager of unhappy guests
  • Assist other team members as needed
  • Drive table turn timing by scouting open tables and bussing and cleaning tables
  • Rotate seating following guidelines for fairness
  • Manage guest flow efficiently from the front door
  • Manage wait times and communicate with guests, team members, and managers
  • Deliver silverware as guests are seated
  • Make timely and accurate bill transaction calculations
  • Greet and assist guests efficiently while processing transactions
  • Reconcile monies from their banks
  • Complete to go order transactions accurately
  • Sell merchandise from the front desk if applicable
  • Maintain a friendly demeanor with frequent smiling
  • Communicate effectively with multiple guests and generate enthusiasm
  • Dress neatly and professionally at all times
  • Demonstrate ability to read and communicate in English
  • Articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells
  • Respond calmly to dissatisfied guests and alert the manager
  • Be at least 16 years old
