The hiring establishment is the Natatorium department within a local educational district, dedicated to supporting aquatic and swim-related programs and services. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • at least three years of clerical or secretarial experience in an office setting
  • ability to operate a multi-line phone system
  • proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • ability to handle emergency situations professionally
  • willingness to comply with all district policies and safety protocols
  • ability to manage frequent interruptions and work irregular hours
  • capability to perform light lifting (less than 15 pounds)
  • work on-site with no remote work option

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • associate degree preferred
  • three years of clerical or secretarial experience in an office setting
  • experience in an educational environment preferred
  • ability to operate multi-line phone system
  • effective public relations and communication skills
  • ability to speak, read, and understand English
  • proficiency in keyboarding and file maintenance
  • proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • ability to present information effectively in one-on-one situations

Job Duties

  • Receive and direct incoming calls, take reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff
  • greet visitors, respond to inquiries and direct to appropriate personnel according to policies
  • maintain visitor log and issue visitor passes
  • respond to emergency calls and notify appropriate parties
  • receive deliveries and disseminate materials
  • establish and maintain professional communication with parents, students, colleagues, and community members
  • maintain confidentiality and secure all reports and documents
  • pursue professional development activities aligned with district goals
  • comply with policies, procedures, and safety protocols
  • perform other related duties as assigned
