Job Requirements
- Open availability for morning or evening shifts on weekdays, weekends, and occasional overnights if needed
- ability to stand and walk constantly throughout a shift
- ability to lift and carry weights up to 20 lbs
- capacity to crouch, stoop, twist, and reach frequently during the workday
- maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times
- comply with Valencia Hotel Group standards and regulations
- demonstrate punctuality and regular attendance as required by scheduling
- ability to maintain composure and objectivity under pressure
- willingness to perform other duties as assigned by Front Office Manager
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in front office or guest services in a hotel environment
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- proficiency in hotel operating systems, key systems, and phone systems
- knowledge of front desk procedures, hotel services, and area information
- ability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
- basic arithmetic skills and understanding of financial data
Job Duties
- Contribute positively to the team within the department
- prepare for any and all guest requests
- relentlessly train and motivate guest service team members
- convey information and ideas clearly
- assist team members with daily, weekly, monthly assigned duties
