Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One-year front office/guest relations experience including supervisory training or experience
  • Some college preferred
  • Must speak fluent English
  • Ability to stand frequently behind the desk
  • Ability to carry or lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proficient in operating property management and reservation systems
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays

  • One-year front office/guest relations experience including supervisory training or experience
  • Some college preferred
  • Fluent in English
  • Other languages preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Basic math skills
  • Problem-solving and reasoning abilities

Job Duties

  • Provide timely and professional check-in/check-out services
  • Assist in supervising the front desk function
  • Ensure staff is properly trained including service expectations and hotel operations
  • Monitor performance and recommend corrective or disciplinary action
  • Up-sell rooms to maximize hotel revenue
  • Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
  • Promote hotel services and provide guests with information about local attractions
  • Complete opening and closing shift duties
  • Respond appropriately to guest complaints
  • Promote teamwork and coordinate with other departments
  • Perform other duties such as guest room tours and concierge services
