Job Requirements

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • one to three years of related experience
  • ability to work variable schedules including holidays and weekends
  • physical ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
  • commitment to company core values and safety standards

Job Qualifications

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • one to three years of related hospitality experience
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent guest service and communication abilities
  • knowledge of front desk operations and hotel reservation systems
  • ability to handle guest complaints effectively
  • familiarity with safety and sustainability standards
  • capability to work flexible hours and various shifts
  • proficiency in bookkeeping and financial reconciliation

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates in accordance with brand standards and core values
  • resolve guest complaints and concerns by researching and determining effective solutions
  • monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores
  • participate in lobby ambassador activities to build guest relationships
  • oversee front office operations in the absence of management
  • perform bookkeeping tasks including balancing accounts and audits
  • make and confirm reservations
  • promote company and brand-specific marketing programs
  • greet guests upon arrival and manage check-in and room assignments
  • provide welcome folders with keys, certificates, and coupons
  • compute bills, collect payments, handle cash, and make change
  • close out guest accounts and negotiate compromises for dissatisfaction
  • develop specific action plans to address guest service deficiencies
  • maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas
  • follow EarthView sustainability guidelines
  • practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
  • perform other management-directed duties
