Job Requirements
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- one to three years of related experience
- ability to work variable schedules including holidays and weekends
- physical ability to stand for extended periods
- ability to walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and crouch
- commitment to company core values and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
- one to three years of related hospitality experience
- strong leadership and team management skills
- excellent guest service and communication abilities
- knowledge of front desk operations and hotel reservation systems
- ability to handle guest complaints effectively
- familiarity with safety and sustainability standards
- capability to work flexible hours and various shifts
- proficiency in bookkeeping and financial reconciliation
Job Duties
- Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates in accordance with brand standards and core values
- resolve guest complaints and concerns by researching and determining effective solutions
- monitor and improve guest satisfaction scores
- participate in lobby ambassador activities to build guest relationships
- oversee front office operations in the absence of management
- perform bookkeeping tasks including balancing accounts and audits
- make and confirm reservations
- promote company and brand-specific marketing programs
- greet guests upon arrival and manage check-in and room assignments
- provide welcome folders with keys, certificates, and coupons
- compute bills, collect payments, handle cash, and make change
- close out guest accounts and negotiate compromises for dissatisfaction
- develop specific action plans to address guest service deficiencies
- maintain cleanliness and appearance of hotel public areas
- follow EarthView sustainability guidelines
- practice safe work habits and comply with MSDS and OSHA standards
- perform other management-directed duties
