Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in hospitality or front desk operations
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in hotel front desk or hospitality supervision preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Leadership abilities with a focus on team cohesion
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems
  • Ability to multitask and handle stressful situations calmly
  • Knowledge of emergency and security procedures

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
  • Check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • Handle guest mail and messages per established procedures
  • Develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies
  • Take reservation requests efficiently
  • Answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette
  • Block rooms and handle special requests
  • Monitor room availability and offer AGM and GM assistance in yield management and restrictions
  • Handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures
  • Keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable
  • Have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
