Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum one year of customer service experience in hospitality or a similar industry
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Proficiency in using computer systems for data entry and guest management
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to handle cash and perform basic arithmetic accurately
- Ability to remain calm and professional during high-pressure situations
- Willingness to comply with attendance requirements and work schedule
Job Qualifications
- One year experience in customer service in hospitality or similar industry
- Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers with patience, tact and diplomacy
- Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform moderately complex calculations without error
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a computer system
- Ability to stand, walk and perform continuously behind the front desk
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and prepare complex reports
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt communication style to different audiences
Job Duties
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction to staff
- Assign and instruct guest service agents in details of work
- Greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
- Complete the registration process accurately and efficiently
- Promote HEI Hotels and Resorts marketing programs
- Handle financial transactions including credit card verifications and cash balancing
- Respond promptly to telephone calls and manage guest messages
- Remain calm and act as a role model during emergencies and busy periods
- Resolve customer complaints through research and effective solutions
- Comply with attendance rules and perform other job-related duties as assigned
