Job Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1 to 3 years of related experience
  • ability to work varied shifts including holidays and weekends
  • capability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • willing to perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, stooping, kneeling, or crouching

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach, and support associates
  • resolve guest complaints and concerns by conducting thorough research and determining effective solutions
  • be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing them
  • participate in lobby ambassador activities to interact with guests
  • oversee front office operations in absence of management
  • perform bookkeeping activities such as balancing accounts and conducting audits
  • make and confirm reservations
  • promote company and brand-specific marketing programs
  • greet guests immediately upon arrival
  • register and assign guests to hotel rooms
  • provide welcome folders with room keys and relevant materials
  • compute bills, collect payments, handle cash, and make change
  • close out guest accounts, negotiate compromises if dissatisfied
  • create specific action plans to remedy guest service deficiencies
  • ensure cleanliness and appearance of public areas
  • follow sustainability guidelines of EarthView program
  • practice safe work habits adhering to MSDS and OSHA standards
  • perform other duties as requested by management
