Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Assist staff with expediting problem payments
  • follow up with guests regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues
  • process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing room keys
  • process all types of payments including room charges, cash, checks, debit, and credit cards
  • set up accurate accounts for guests including sharing, separate room/tax/incidentals, and comps
  • anticipate sold-out situations and arrange alternative accommodations
  • block rooms in the system and note designated requests
  • coordinate with Bellperson and Housekeeping to resolve guest requests and track room readiness
  • review shift logs and document pertinent information
  • count and balance cash bank at the start and end of shifts
  • assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees
  • serve as first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy
  • report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions
  • complete safety training and certifications
  • follow company policies and maintain professional appearance and confidentiality
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships
  • ensure quality standards
  • stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • lift and move objects up to 10 pounds
  • perform other reasonable duties as requested
