Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
  • availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to lead and motivate a team
  • proficiency with computers and reservation software
  • commitment to delivering excellent guest service

  • previous experience in hotel front desk or supervisory role preferred
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • proficiency with hotel management software and reservation systems
  • ability to remain calm under pressure
  • knowledge of emergency procedures and guest service best practices

Job Duties

  • Provide the highest quality of service to the customer at all times
  • check guests in and out efficiently and in a friendly manner
  • handle guest mail and messages per established procedures
  • develop a thorough knowledge of hotel staff, room locations, room rates, amenities, and selling strategies
  • take reservation requests efficiently
  • answer switchboard in accordance with standards of proper telephone etiquette
  • block rooms and handle special requests
  • monitor room availability and offer AGM and GM assistance in yield management and restrictions
  • handle safe deposits by guests per established procedures
  • keep lobby and desk area clean and presentable
  • have a thorough knowledge of emergency and security procedures
