Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
  • Some college education preferred
  • Minimum of two years experience in hotel operations
  • Experience in supervisory or managerial roles preferred
  • Proficient accuracy in basic computer literacy required
  • Must possess excellent communication skills
  • Must possess excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents
  • Ability to write reports and memos
  • Ability to communicate effectively with employees and guests
  • Must hold a Level 4 Gaming License
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, sitting, and using hands
  • Ability to work in a moderate noise and smoky casino environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Some college education preferred
  • Two years of hotel experience required
  • Progressive supervisory or managerial experience preferred
  • Proficient accuracy in basic computer literacy
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write effective reports and memos
  • Ability to communicate effectively in various group settings
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning

Job Duties

  • Maintain a working knowledge of the property and nearby events to advise guests
  • Guide and support front desk and bell desk employees in performing duties
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of departmental procedures and assist in hotel operations administration
  • Handle all guest requests promptly and courteously
  • Post charges to guest accounts and make adjustments as necessary
  • Ensure maximum service level and guest satisfaction
  • Supervise all front desk agents and bell staff activities
